Garry Gibberson
Meet the legendary Garry Gibberson, who served as Santana Golf's esteemed Starter for over 15 years. Garry was not only excellent orchestrating the perfect tee-off experience, but he also brought an extra touch of magic to the Tee 1 with his faithful companion, Jimmy the parrot. This dynamic duo turned the Tee 1 into a stage for laughter, warmth, and the true spirit of Santana Golf's community.
In the bustling world of golf, Garry stood out not only for his professional prowess but also for his genuine kindness. Beyond the greens, he was (and still is) a friend, a mentor and most important, a genuinely good person.
José María Muñoz
José María, our dedicated Greenkeeper, wasn't just a skilled professional; he was a beacon of hard work and dedication, ensuring that the course stood as a testament to his unwavering commitment. His caring nature extended beyond the greens, as he took genuine interest in the well-being of his team, fostering a collaborative spirit that made Santana not just a course, but a family.
Tragically, we lost José María Muñoz at the age of 68, leaving behind a void that is deeply felt by all who knew him. As we fondly remember him, we miss his presence dearly. Santana Golf stands as a living tribute to his dedication.
